Build Your Craft.
Steward Your Calling.
We are a small, growing team of producers, engineers, designers and photographers who hold two things at once: that the work should be good enough to stand in any industry, and that it is worth doing for the Church. If those two streams have always run in parallel for you, this is where they meet.

Three things, and we are not flexible on any of them.

Demonstrated craft
Deployable skill, evidenced by work we can look at. We hold our team to industry standards rather than ministry standards, because a church that has been tolerating poor media for years deserves better than enthusiasm. Sincerity is not a substitute for competence.
A servant posture
You can treat a nervous volunteer with the same courtesy as a senior pastor. You can be corrected without collapsing and lead without lording. Ego is the single most common reason a technically excellent operator does not last here.
Alignment with why we exist
This is a Christian company and we are open about it. We pray before projects, we serve churches as our largest body of work, and our standards come from a conviction rather than a market position. You do not have to agree with us about everything, but you should be able to work somewhere that believes this without finding it strange.
What It's Like Here
Small team, real responsibility, and considerably more variety than a larger studio would give you. In one week you might be in a sanctuary at seven in the morning, in an edit suite by two, and on a call with a solicitor about their website by five.
We start projects in prayer. We argue about colour with more energy than the subject warrants. We tell each other the truth kindly and early, which is easier to write on a careers page than to do, and we work at it.
It is not for everyone. Weekend work is real — Sundays and conferences are when churches need us. Deadlines attach to events that cannot move. If you want a predictable nine-to-five, we would rather say so here than discover it together in month three.
What you can expect day to day:
- Work that matters to the people receiving it, including the small jobs
- Direct access to senior practitioners — there is no layer to get through
- Real decisions, early. We would rather trust you than supervise you
- Honest feedback, given kindly and given promptly
- Time protected for your own church involvement
What We Offer
We don’t think ministry-adjacent work justifies underpaying skilled people.
Our approach is simple: pay the market rate for the skill required, be clear about what is included, and do not dress up statutory minimums as benefits.
In place now
- Market-rate salary or day rate, benchmarked against the creative and broadcast industries rather than against church salaries
- 20 days Holiday entitlement including public holidays.
- Workplace pension with employer contribution, as required
- Equipment and software provided for the work
- Flexible hours around the fixed points — Sundays and event dates are fixed; much of the rest is not
- Free access to every AltarSeal Academy course
- Time off in lieu after weekend and event work.
What we're building towards
- A funded annual learning and development budget
- Structured mentorship for junior team members
- A team retreat once the size of the team makes it worthwhile
Current Openings.
Nothing open right now. We'd still like to meet you.
We are small and we grow in steps, so there are stretches with nothing advertised. That is not the same as not hiring. Most of the people who have joined us reached out before a role existed, and most of our freelance work goes to people already on the register.
Tell us what you do and show us something you have made. When something opens, we look here first — and when a project needs an extra pair of hands next month, we look here too.
Altar.
a place of offering
In Scripture, an altar marks the point where something of value is deliberately given. “Then Noah built an altar to the Lord” (Genesis 8:20). For us it means the work is an offering before it is a product: the cable coiled properly at midnight, the colour matched across four cameras, the audio checked once more when nobody would have noticed.
Seal .
a mark of authenticity.
A seal signifies permanence and trust — an unbroken promise. “You were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit” (Ephesians 1:13). It is what we put on the work: a guarantee of quality, integrity and craftsmanship that holds up years after the invoice is paid.
AltarSeal .
where the sacred meets the cinematic.
Together the name describes a single conviction. Media made for the Church should carry the reverence of an offering and the discipline of a professional studio, with no compromise on either side. That is what we are for.

The form
Six Convictions. Zero Compromise.
01. EXCELLENCE — as worship.
We do not cut corners on what bears God’s name. From a five-second logo animation to a five-day conference broadcast, every output is held to a single standard: would we be proud to present this at the altar?
01
02. STEWARDSHIP — of every dollar, every device, every detail.
02
04. SERVICE — that outlasts the project.
04
03. INNOVATION — anchored in eternity.
03
05. INTEGRITY — because the altar is watching.
05
06. SPIRIT-LED CRAFT — because skill without surrender is just performance.
06
We’ve been working hard to impress you.
Talent is Common.
Calling is Rare.
Everyone who carries the AltarSeal name passes two tests, not one. Technical mastery, measured against industry standards — our camera operators could hold a commercial broadcast, our designers could hold their own in a London agency. And spiritual maturity — they walk with Christ, they are active in a local church, and they hold their integrity under pressure.
We do not require uniform doctrinal positions. We do require a shared reverence for the Bride of Christ and for the people who serve her. We have turned down genuinely brilliant operators who did not love the Church, and hired less-experienced creatives who understood worship.
It is also why we do not subcontract your Sunday to whoever answers the phone first. The person who walks into your building wearing our credentials is someone we would invite to our own table.

Equality & Accessibility
The Body of Christ spans every nation, ethnicity, language and culture, and the people who serve it should reflect that. We welcome applications from everyone, and we particularly want to hear from people who do not see themselves represented in Christian media at the moment.
If you need an adjustment at any stage of the process — a different interview format, extra time, materials in another format, an accessible location — tell us. It will not count against you, and you do not have to explain why.
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”
— 1 Peter 4:10
How We Hire.
Short, and you will hear back.
"We didn't start AltarSeal
because the world needed another media agency...
We started
because the church deserved one."
